I do not even see release notes for the version you are running in the wiki. You are apparently running a version of 4.0b (4.0b SR-4, version 4.10.4.9457). Logos 4.0c was released in May of 2010!

I've never even thought of doing an update! I don't think I have seen any emails for it so it was just sort of: "out of sight, out of mind" for me.

Have you really never done an update? Or did you get a new computer and install software from an old CD-Rom? If you have really never updated, then the software will be quite different... but don't worry. The forums will help you through it. [:)] FYI - Logos has a philosophy of "update often." Some companies release their software once a year or so, with minor "service releases" to fix bugs as they come along. Logos does the latter as well, but new features roll out quite frequently.
One of the big changes, which came in 4.3 or 4.5 (I can't remember), is that "highlights equal notes." In other words, every highlight creates a corresponding note in a notes document. You will need to decide how you want to store and manage these notes... I can help you process that if you need me to.

It would be good If I COULD add back the windows logging link... but the signature area is limited to "256 characters." I tried deleting everything except for the two logging links and the installation link... but no joy.
