Can I limit, choose, or otherwise restrict which books are downloaded?

I'm using a MacBook Air, which has limited disk memory. Is there a way to flag some books or series to be NOT downloaded all the time? I have a large Logos library, but I don't need most of the books most of the time. Can I make Logos 4 for Mac behave more like the mobile app and keep only some books on the local hard drive, and the others Internet access only?

No. It is all or nothing. If you "hide" books on one desktop app, it will be hidden on ALL installations (desktop AND mobile). MacBook Air's are great... but you need to make sure to get a LARGE drive.

For clarification: You posted in the "Logos 4 Mac" forum. This forum is for users of "Logos 4" rather than "Logos 5." The "4" means "four" and not "for." Are you using Logos 4 or 5? If the former, you should consider updating to at least the free L5 engine. If the later, please use the Logos 5 forum (for users of both Logos 5 Mac & PC).

Logos 5 library has selective resource selection for mobile apps.

I have a large Logos library, but I don't need most of the books most of the time.

It's worth knowing that most Logos resources take up very little space. So if you can live without the media resources (images and sound) or resources stuffed full of popups, for example, you can save quite a bit of space. In my library, hiding the following 10 resources would save me 3.1Gb. These 10 large resources use about the same amount of disk space as the 3,500 smallest books in my library.*
