How does one obtain a printout of their library? It is awkward running down the program listing trying to find just what is wanted.
First, make a collection of all your resources. The easiest way to do this is to use the search term 'type:*'.
Then click on the drop-down arrow in the collection, and choose Print/Export, and get it formatted in the window how you like it.
This could be a LONG document if you have a lot of resources. I write mine to a PDF instead of hard copy (you need the right software installed to do this, I think).
BTW, welcome to the forums!
Al, let me throw one more thing in. If you have a lot of resources, i.e. you bought a Portfolio or a Platinum, etc., you may want to break your collections up into more reasonable sets. For example, you might want to create a collection of all your commentaries, and print this out. Then you might create a collection of all your systematic theologies, historical theologies, biblical theologies, etc., and print that. And so on.
I've created about 160 different collections so far, and I find uses for them all at times. For example, I've created a collection for commentaries for each book of the bible. (You can see examples of how I've titled them in the pic below.)
If I want a quick bibliography of the commentaries I own on (say) the book of John, this is easy to get. Here's my Print/Export page for the book of John, where I can save the page to Word, etc. (Note that in this case I have the 'Bibliography only' checked, and I'm using APA style.)
Wow...great ideas! Thanks for your help.
