Locked all iPad Functions

When I opened Logos, it never fully launched--only the logo screen appeared.  From that point forward, I could not close the app, access the control center to access other apps, or power off my iPad with the power button only.  I had to simultaneously hold the home button and power button to finally power off/on.  I'm using iOs7 and the latest version of Logos.  Has this happened to anyone else?

    No, I am using iOS 7 on my 3rd gen. iPad successfully.

    Had you used the iPad with iOS 7 installed in any way previous to this trouble? In other words, have you used other apps without trouble?

    Not quite... I have had similar things happen. Do you know what version you were running? Does the app store show an update for you? Did you try to reproduce it? Did you try killing other apps?
