List of Note files not displaying properly

I uninstalled and reinstalled the Logos app for my Kindle Fire because I was having some problems displaying all my resource covers.  When I reinstalled Logos all my resource covers are visible - so that problem is fixed------however, I now have another problem.

When I either try to highlight or add a note to an existing note file I get several blank pages that I have to scroll through before I come to my list of note files.

I've not heard of this problem before, does anyone have any thoughts?
