Why I still use Libronix over Logos 4

Why is it that I can search a book right from My Library from Libronix by right clicking on it but I can't do that in Logos 4? Am I missing something that's right in front of my face? That feature and the slow loading and constant requests for updates has kept me from using an otherwise (probably) great product.

John, that feature is missing from L4/5. I wish it were put back in. I don't have a clue as to why it was taken out nor why it hasn't been put back in, as you and I are not the only ones who miss it.

Yes it is a shame that they didn't include this feature in future versions. I'm still hoping that some day it will return.

I didn't even know L3 could do that, but it would be a great feature to have in L5. It takes several clicks to do that now, but I do it frequently.

Another NICE feature included by the best programming team ever assembled on the face of the earth (maybe the planets; how can we tell?) is that the right-click menu also includes 'About this resource' which then pop the FULL resource info panel open to INCLUDE the indices, etc.

Now, everyone close your eyes since this will completely ruin my reputation, but have you looked at the Info information on a resource (the 'i' after you open it).   Along with the little download buttons (also in the library info panel) but Logos even added explanations for the search fields.

Any more courteous additions like this, and the Libronix team is going to be fishing for a new customer.

And you can now open the information panel directly from the library [:)].

I was hoping you wouldn't bring that up. I've already used up my bad-girl minutes, making David mad on another thread.

When you click on the library info panel in L5, wanting the indices, it literally opens the resource and then the 'i' panel. That's a kludge.

But worse, with my 5 window 90+ resource set up, it randomly opens the resource on 1 of the windows 'somewhere'.

So, the Libronix programming team is still tops.

Yeah, I expect to be using L3 for the next 15-20 years. I would love to have a comparable updated program that plays well with contemporary OS's and browsers, but that's just never going to happen. [:(]

This has been added in 5.2 Beta 1; thanks for the suggestion!

Perhaps I don't understand, but I just saw the word "Zion" in the NT I have open so I did a right-click and selected "Search this resource" and received 196 hits.  Isn't this what you wanted?

Lot faster i the library, than finding the book on a search drop down, etc:

I may be missing something but searching for ([field bible, content] <root = lbs/he/עזר:1>) in 1000 Bible Images is not exciting[8-|]
