about downloaded books on Ipod

I have a problem about downloaded books in my Ipod.

When I accessed my logos, most of the books that I downloaded I cannot open if I do not have any internet connection.

I have to download the books again and again. I noticed if I do not use some books for a while, and I try to access them without internet connection it says that the resources are not available (even if i can see the icon of the book in my library)

Did anyone encounter such problems before?

Strange. What version of the app? What version of iOS? How much free space is on your device?
