Making the move...

...to a new machine.

This must happen all the time, so there's bound to be a 'set piece' on it somewhere, and I think I've spotted something on the forums before. But I'm getting a new computer (Win 8) and, as I'm retiring my current machine, want to get Logos 5 up and running on the new one.

The simple question is: what is the procedure for doing this? Searches on the forums and Support have drawn a blank. Thanks.

Here is the wiki page explaining how to copy your index over to a new machine - http://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_multiple_computers

I prefer simple over quick, so I went to www.logos.com/install and did a fresh install on my Win8 machine. This downloads all resources and did a clean index. I did have to re-compile my personal books.

Very straightforward as you thought. On your new computer:

Go to this link http://community.logos.com/forums/t/75559.aspx
Click on Windows and install the latest version
Open Logos 5 and log in with your user name and password
Your resources will download and index.
