BUG Something Very Wrong with Filters since last Update

I have a filter to highlight verbs. Since the last update has gone terribly wrong. It now highlights some non-verbs and even individual letters. I have checked the filter and it is fine. . Also the fonts on my notes have become enormous and I am having to manually change the font sizes on all my notes. This is really messing up my work flow

In the command box, try:

update resources

I had a similar issues with sympathetic highlighting going weird. It corrected itself one all the current updates were through.

Just said "no updates available"

This is highly frustrating. I am a Pastor and I am preparing for church tomorrow. Really don't need this.

It looks like all your highlight locations are off by a set number of character positions. It's probably an indexing problem. Try the command: rebuild bible index

That's a good idea, Rosie.

I'm not sure if the filters are handled by the library index, so perhaps all indexes need to be right before we could be sure it would work?

Yes, filters do uses the indexes to work properly. I don't know how, I just know that when indexing is going on, or if indexing crashes, visual filters can be offset, and maybe even exhibit some other behavior. There are two main indexes: Library index and Bible index. It's enough to rebuild (or let finish) the index of the type of resource within which you are seeing a problem. (Not that the other would hurt anything, but it does take up unnecessary time.)

How do I know this? Mostly observation and interaction on this forum. If you read enough (I "lurk" much more than I post), you can learn a lot.
