After the "big" resource update, Indexer quits prematurely and never finishes

For whatever reason, the "big" resource update was only 430MB, despite having the Portfolio edition. Now indexing appears to be broken. I'm on the latest release (5.1b, Mac).
Twice the process stalled a 3%, and I receives a prompt from Developer tools to enter my password. I force-closed the Indexer and restarted Logos, and the process reached 23%. Now it quits as soon as it starts, although Logos still reports that Indexing is running. If I click "Pause" from within Logos at this point, I am again prompted by Developer Tools for my password.
Not sure what to do at this point. This is the first time I have had indexing issues.

I'm not familiar with Developer Tools but please enable logging if possible and upload the log folder.
