Reading plans due today

Not sure if this has been mentioned before or not.

I use the Reading Plan feature a lot. Recently I purchased a small collection of books; as soon as they were downloaded, I thought I should plan to read them all--one book per month. So I scheduled one for August, another for September, etc.

On my desktop, I can easily see which plans are strictly for the future.

But on my Android, I can't tell which of the reading plans are current, and which are future.

Overdue reading plans are well-marked. Maybe there could be a similar marking for future reading plans?

There are some significant reading plan updates coming in the next release (I'm working on them right now, in fact). I'm not sure it will entirely address your concern, but once we release the next version, I'd encourage you to let us know what you think at that point.

Currently future reading plans will not appear on Android until the first reading's date occurs. Future reading plans do appear on iOS but with no indication that they are "future" (except that there won't be any readings available until the first reading's date occurs).

I'll write up an inquiry case on this one - thanks for the report.

Kevin is mistaken...I think he's thinking of reading plan documents that have not yet been generated (those don't currently show up on Android).

I had a thought that might help you though...you can "remove" your future reading plans from your list of daily readings and then you can re-add them when you're ready for the reading plan to start. You can do this by long pressing on the future items in the Daily Reading screen and clicking "Remove" (clicking "Delete" will actually delete them, "Remove" just takes them out the daily readings list).

When you're ready to add them back to the Daily Readings list, you can click the "+" button and choose "Bible Reading Plan" and you should see all your removed plans.
