Dear Logos Support
When I opened Logos 5 today it informed me that it was downloading 54 MB of updates. I allowed it to go ahead. It then recommended that I click a link to install the updates. I did so.
After a while an error message came up telling me that I was trying to access a resource that was not available. That was followed by the above error messages.
The 2nd message showed that the installer was looking for the package Logos.msi in the path C:\Users\DixieE\AppData\Local\Logos4\Install\Installers.
It could not find it and asked me to enter an alternative path.
I cannot understand this because if I follow that path I do find Logos.msi as you can see from the above screen shot.
I checked the permissions on the Installers folder and the Logos.msi file and I have full control.
After pressing OK in the second error message, the 3rd error message informed me that the file is not a valid installation package for Logos Bible Software.
I don’t understand what is going on. During September I took advantage of your upgrade to Logos 5 offer. I have always followed the instructions given during download and installation.
