Hi All

It's great to see L4A developing and new features being added. I thought it might be helpful to begin another thread with things that could be fixed, improved or added to make it even better.

Yes I know there is the desired features thing somewhere, but it only allows single features to be listed and some of these points below don't fit that, so here is my list at the moment. Please add your own, and it would be great to hear from Logos about what's coming featurewise.

I'm on an HTC One V with Android 4.0.3.

Thanks
Richard

=======

Greek Display

  1. Correct Display of Greek text in Bible Word study and elsewhere – words with initial letters with diacritics often don’t display properly (see attached)

Split Panels

  1. Option to disable to “Link panels” dialog when long tapping the panel splitter – it is irritating that it pops up so often when trying to make fine adjustments to the split position
  2. Option to hide second pane with a double tap the way it can be shown with a double tap.
  3. Second pane should remember its position when hidden, and double tap on semicircle should restore it to this position

BWS

  1. Show more than two lexica in BWS
  2. Show hit counts in Translation section
  3. Option to show all hits when tapping lemma in centre of circle in Translation section

Searching

  1. Allow searches with more than one term when offline, or at least show an error if this isn’t going to be possible, because at the moment, offline searches with multiple terms misleadingly return no results

Reading

  1. Implement continuous scrolling option

Something that could be a really good addition would be another reading background similar to the "paper" resource background in the Logos Desktop app or comparable to the new Kindle reading background.

    Logos 10 - OpenSuse Tumbleweed, Windows 11, Android 16 & Android 14

I've got one! Although it's not really a Logos suggestion. I want a add-on device that I can connect to my Android phone or tablet. A nice thin panel with a e-Ink display that connects to the usb or bluetooth (depending on if it's self powered) to display whatever I'm current viewing on e-Ink instead of the regular display. It could include two cases, one that holds the e-Ink panel. and a generic 7 inch-ish inch tablet, and one that holds the e-Ink panel and a generic phone. Perhaps it could even work with Windows tablets. Where can I send that suggestion?

There's at least one thing on Richard's list that's already implemented internally. How's that for a hint? Here, I'll also throw in this mischievous wink: [;)]

Jelly Bean 4.3 fixes the language. The split panels are too easy to adjust for me to fret and' since I use my laptop for study, the rest is moot. I can say that what I get is very satisfying (couldn't say that when I had an old 4.0 Android. Could be time to update your equipment).
