Logos 4 will not start up

My logos 4 will no longer start/load when I launch it. It appears to start launching then it will vanish for a moment, reappear smaller then the error message say there is "a problem caused the program to quit working." I noticed a few updates for windows around that time and there may have been a logos update too.

I ran a system restore and tried two prior points when it was working and that did not help. I ran a repair on logos software and that did not fix the problem either.

I am running a Windows 7 OS, 64 Bit, AMD Athlon II P340 2.2 Ghz processor with 4 gigs of RAM. I have done a logging report and have attached that per support instructions.

I haven't seen this error before. Since you are running Windows 7, you're able to update to Logos 5 for free. (You won't get all the new features in the paid upgrades, but you will get the latest improvements and bug fixes.) It's possible that Logos 5 may solve this problem.

Bradley - thank you for your quick response. If I download logos 5, will I loose anything from my current Logos 4 (notes or other functions currently included with 4)? My worry is that if I haven't paid for and recieved the fully functioning 5, some functions or features that I had in 4 will no longer be available.

You loose nothing of what you have in L4 when you upgrade to the free L5 engine.

Thank you for your help. I took your advice and downloaded Logos 5 and I am back up and running.
