Gifting my Platinum Package

Since I am no longer in the professional ministry, my need for my vast Logos library has diminished. I have a lot invested in Logos and continue to use it, but I feel that it may be time to gift some of my resources to a pastor on the staff of my church, a missionary serving the Lord overseas, or a young candidate for the ministry who is in seminary preparing for his or her life's work. If I don't have need of these resources, I'd like to make sure the investment is transferred to someone who can use them to the benefit of the church and the spread of the gospel.
I am thinking about gifting my Platinum Package. I understand that the commentaries and other resources that I purchased that are not part of the Platinum Package would continue to be mine. But before I had the Platinum package, I had the Original Languages Package dating back to Libronix and maybe even earlier. Would I still continue to have those resources, or do these resources become part of the Platinum package I purchased? I also had the 1984 NIV prior to upgrading to Platinum? Would I lose this as well?
Please understand that this is not a decision borne of financial necessity, since I am planning on gifting them. I am just trying to figure out just what to gift so that I can make the best decision.
Thanks in advance for your replies.

I suggest that you call Customer Service and ask them as they have the complete records of how you purchased each part of your library. I haven't a clue as to how they handle upgrades.

Bill,
What a lovely and generous thought.
I don't know what the answer is to your specific question but I do know that Logos will facilitate transfer of licences for a small fee.
I too have a significant investment in Logos and my will specifies how I want my executors to try and transfer the resources. In my case however they would go to somebody in one big lump – 'cos then I would know all that I don't understand now.

Hi Bill,
What a great gesture.
I would appreciate your consideration if/when you decide to move forward with gifting your Platinum Package.

When I 'gifted' (a very tiny book!, nothing like a major package), they sent a confirmation email of the resources involved.

You need to contact Logos, but this very well may be the case. When you are given a credit discount for a new base package for owning some of the new package's resources, you lose the right to break up that package. Your situation seems a bit more complicated, and you have some resources which you want to maintain... so you need to contact Logos. I would make sure you get your answer in writing, and make sure you include the specific resources you want to keep.

(I re-edited this post several times...to try and be compliant).
I'd humbly form a line behind the gracious Mr. Randolph - for any of your well used commentaries [;)]
I also know your local church Pastor should enjoy your resources too. Mr. Anderson, you've always been kind to me (and to others) Sir.
I certainly hopeful you've happily/peacefully retired from your role and that all is well. I appreciate that full time ministry can be a challenge.
(I attend Luther Rice Seminary online and am hopeful of becoming an assistant-pastor one day. I will need to be bi-vocational like my Pastor and others today. Peter fished and Paul made tents, right? The awesome professor teaching me how to deliver an expositional sermon this semester has had his own carpet cleaning business for years!).
God bless your day/night
