logos 4 indexing generated an exception that could not handle

Hi,
Just got logos 5 and it was updating my desktop. I had my XP laptop open and was downloading/indexing an update at the same time. During the indexing and exception occurred.
I retried the indexing > got an exception, reboot laptop and got an exception. (had firewalls and virus disabled.
uninstalled logo4 and redownloaded...got an exception. See attached zip for logs from 10/3.00680.Logos Log Files.zip

Rich,
welcome to the Logos user forum!
From what I can see in your logs, the indexer crashed due to a malformed database file.
Error ID: 7668
Error detail: IndexingException: The database disk image is malformedHowever, this is something your re-install of L4 should have covered. Does this error reoccur?
If so, maybe some technical more savy log readers can advise on what to do, e.g. delete corrupt database files to have L4 rebuild them in a working manner.
Logos 4 itself crashed on 10-2 and report error 7664 which is an XAML parse exception. I don't recall having seen this error before, but we once had an XAML error when Logos tried to locate a file that wasn't there. However, since there are no L4 crash/error logs as from 10-3, it seems the app is running well for you?
I'm not sure I've read much on the forum about running L4 and L5 parallel - there could be some sync issues between both.
Have joy in the Lord!

The log file appears to indicate that one of the reverse interlinear resources on your system is malformed. Unfortunately, the logs don't indicate which one.
Since you have a working installation on a different computer, try copying all the *.lbsrvi files from your ResourceManager\Resources folder to the XP laptop. (If you have the latest versions of Logos 4.6c and Logos 5.1b on the respective computers, the reverse interlinears should be compatible between the two apps.)

Hi,
Looks like I have a hardware problem. I got a similar error trying to install a hardware diagnostic tool.
Thanks for your quick response.
