Trying to do a word study on the word believe. But in the section "Greek Words" The Authorized King James Version is not in the list seen in the 'Settings' drop down list. How to get it in the list?... When "believe" is in the Greek words search box with LEB as the default that is ok.  But I don't know how to get the AV in the list so I can check it as well.  Any suggestions? A bit lost at the moment.

Blessings, Jan

    Peace to you, Jan!

The Bible Word Study will give you the five (5!) top bibles that you prioritized when you set up Logos ...    if you understand that and how to do that, simply prioritise the King James as one of your top five ....

Please tell us a bit more, and we'll give you an encouraging boost!           *smile*                  What is your Logos Base Program ???

Here's a screen shot with my top five prioritised Bibles ...

Philippians 4:  4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. 5 Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand..........

Thanks so much Milford for your help.  We made sure the AV was prioritized as you suggested.  It does not show in the setting drop down box in the Greek Words section.  HOWEVER, we just realized that the AV is our default Bible and so I guess we had it working all the time.  We have the minimal Cross-upgrade Logos 5 with the Greek Morphology data base included.  I also see in the Textual Searches that the AV is in our list now also. So I think we have an answer.

We were not seeing anything for the NIV but came to the conclusion it was not supported for the Morphology searches.  Thanks a million. Have a great day. Blessings, Jan.

    Not necessarily.

In the Greek and Hebrew Words section, Logos uses Reverse Interlinears to display the data. So if you don't have a reverse interlinear for that Bible, then it won't display. RI's come with L4 and L5 base packages.

Bear in mind that there are also several different versions of the AV, and not all of them have reverse-interlinears. The AV 1873 and KJV 1900 both do.

Thanks Mark for your helpful input.  I see that now and figure that was the problem for our one Bible.  I do have RI's for the AV and other Bibles we are using, so that is really helpful.  Take care. Blessings, Jan
