Is there a way, in Logos 4, to quickly toggle to the next verse found in a search?
Not from the keyboard, as far as I know, and no nice way to simply jump to the next verse found. But the scroll bar shows little orange lines wherever there were search hits (they only become noticeably dark orange when you hover the mouse over the scroll bar). If you click on one of these lines, you'll jump immediately to that point in the book where you'll find the highlighted search result(s).
Thanks, Rosie. But I still like toggling from the keyboard better.
I realized there is actually a way to do it from the keyboard, if your search was a simple one for just a single word or phrase (no advanced search syntax). Once you get to the first result, press Ctrl+F: this will open up the Find box at the top of the book window. Type in (again) your search text (best copy it from the search pane before you even get this far -- using Ctrl+C -- and then you can paste it here -- Ctrl+V). Then hit Enter, and you can keep hitting Enter to jump to the next and subsequent results.
It would be nice if there were a keyboard way of simply jumping to the next result without having to search again for it, but that's a topic for the Suggestions forum.
Thanks, Rosie. That was also helpful. But this approach is not as easy or helpful as actually going to the next search result - because it finds just parts of words etc. [For example, a search for the word rest brings up words like forest nearest etc.]
Good point. I guess this is something we need to request that they bring back from Logos 3, as it did work in L3 (you could just press F3).

I see somebody has already posted this request in the Suggestions forum.
