Opening Multiple Copies of Collections

It doesn't seem possible to open multiple copies of collections. I have quite a number of collections that are similar that I have gathered from various forum discussions and faithlife groups. What I would like to do it compare them side by side instead of opening a collection each time. Does anyone know a way to do this?

One thing that you can do is open the library in a tab, displaying only the content of one collection. This can be compared side by side to a collection:

The drawback is that you can't see or play with the rule of the collection in the library view.

Then compare them against each other. However, For the larger denom. stream: groups, this is unwieldy at best. Presbyterian, and Baptist proved to be the biggest challenges for me thus far.

If you want to deconstruct the rules you can use a text editor that supports regexps, like notepad++ and use something like the following (for the simplest case like the Denom/Theology rules)

First search

Find: (\).*OR\s+)?(\w*):\(
Replace with: \n\n$2\n

Second search

Find: ",\s*"
Replace with: \n

If you're talking about the rule from the Denom/Theology spreadsheet. You can use go to the Author or Publisher tab, Enable quick filter, and filter by either Category (similar to results from denom stream), Category & Subcategory (for the results of each sub-denomination), or by one of the Theology columns, filtering for non-empty cells (gives the results of the Theologies rules).

I'll vote for that. I'll vote for it on UserVoice as well, if somebody wants to start a thread.

This wouldn't be something I'd use daily, but would certainly help in refining collections, which I DO use everyday; and a quality collection can mean the difference between quick search results and a lot of digging.

Thankful for two computers side by side with Logos 5 installed on each so can have two library windows and two collection windows open.

Personally wish for Library to have a significantly larger find box. Collection rule is the width of the panel while Library has a limited size.
