iOS features to Android ?
I have been using my iPad 4 & still do, but I just bought the Galaxy Mega for portability. I really really like it...it was the Note 3 or the Mega and the Mega won because it has larger display for Logos.
I'm still learning and need some help...Is there a scrolling feature on the Android or is that feature only on my iPad? I do miss not being able to scroll so if there is a Setting to switch to, could someone assist me with that. If not, please state that too.
The Mega may be oversized for a cellphone, but for a minnie tablet it is great! I would dare say on the Mega in the split screen there is still more real estate screen than the entire screen of my iPhone! Clarity for reading is fine. The price is appealing @ $149 w/2 yr contract.
So far the time I have spent using Logos Bible App on it I am very pleased. I like that the highlighting & notes show up on either device. The Faithlife App I have setup but not used yet.
Any tips you can share about Android for the Logos Bible App would be appreciated.

The two finger scrolling option is not yet available in the Android apps, but it is implemented internally and will be available in the next release.

I did not know this, but I just checked it out. It is a fantastic feature.
I realize this is not the place, but is there anything like this in the desktop version? I mean, if you use reading columns, can you scroll as well as turning the pages?

There isn't a scroll bar when in multi-column mode.

By desktop I mean an operating system that uses the desktop metaphor in its Graphical User Interface, and by extension a system made to be controlled by a keyboard and mouse. Desktop version of Logos hence means the version made for either Microsoft Windows or Apple Macintosh. This metaphor is certainly ageing (e.g. Gnome3 has abandoned it), but I do believe it is still appropriate [:)]
As Graham Criddle points out there is no scroll bar in the column view - for obvious reasons, I guess. However, since such functionality has been added to the mobile app, I thought maybe there would be a similar "hidden" feature on the desktop. I think it is rather unlikely, but worth asking the question.
The reason I wondered about this, is that when I needed to select text across pages (for copying or highlighting) I used to switch back to scrolled view, select the text, and then go back to paged view. That was kind of cumbersome. Then, just by chance, I realized that I could simply select a small portion in the beginning of the text I wanted to copy or highlight, then turn the page, hold shift, and click on the end position. This way I could select as much or little text as I wanted, without leaving the paged view. Therefore this feature is not really of much importance, but it would still be very nice.

I haven't used the Windows L5 for several months but at that time I could scroll with 2 or 3 books open side by side.
I'm at a Precept's Int'l Ministry Kay Arthur Women's Conf in Chattanooga and I don't have my laptop with to look at it. When I get back home I'll look at it again to see what you are all referring to.
I used the scrolling especially for selecting large sections to copy & paste. Thanks for this information...sad to hear it no longer has this feature.

You can scroll without any problems if you have "columns" set to "none"

I am wondering if you are really just messing with me (or us) but here goes anyway....
This is what it looks like. The resource on the left is in "Scroll view" i.e. it is set to displaying no columns. Notice that the scrollbar is in place. I´ve also opened the contextual menu to show the setting.
The resource on the right is in "Paged view" i.e. has its columns set to a value other than none ("auto" in this case). The pagination buttons on the bottom right are the dead giveaway (The gray triangles), as well as the missing scroll bar. It would not really make sense, though there might have been a progress bar. The paged view is by far superior when reading extensive portions of text on-screen, and this is in fact the view I prefere all the time. If I could I would set it to be the default, but this is not an option. The only disadvantage, in my experience, is that the page breaks are a bit unpredictable, and usually in an unfortunate location. I have already posted the workaround above.
