Verse of the Day??? How many are there every day?

Peace and Joy in the Lord to my Sisters and Brothers on these Logos Forums! *smile*

As I do every morning, I opened my Windows 8 App - Logos Verse of the Day - and saved today's ... (smiling all the way, eh???!!!) It's on my hard drive ... the same image as on my Logos 5 Home Page

However, when I look at my Windows 8 Home Page - at the Verse of the Day App -- I see a different image - same passage - different image - it's actually the image I'd prefer saving on this lovely Tuesday, but I cannot - when I open the App, I get the first one..... Here's the new one:

Please understand! I'm super-happy with Logos! Indeed! And then some.... !!!

Just wondering what's coming down, eh??? *smile*

Anybody know???

I had foolishly assumed that the verse of the day was simply a random selection from the pool ... perhaps because my benchmark for non-random is some tie to a liturgical year.

Yes! That's the OTHER question ... Who chooses the Verse of the Day? On what basis?

Again, let me say up front ........ I'm really and truly happy with the selections ...

But, there must be SOME pattern, eh??? But, my current question is still ... Why two (and two different ones!)?

A small number of verses have been updated with new images. Genesis 1:1 is another example. As far as I know, once the image has been replaced it's not possible to get hold of the previous image - unless someone uploads it for you, that is [;)]

Although -- since you live in Wales -- you get up early every morning compared to us who live on "this side of the pond" ....
