Logos 4 freezes at start up

Dear Freinds,

For almost two months now, I am unable to use Logos 4. The last time I used it, I did a major update and allowed the indexing. Since that time, anytime I start Logos 4, it freezes.

Any help! Thanks in advance for helping.

Sorry to hear you are having problems. Couple of options:

Are you able to upgrade to Logos 5? The free engine is at https://www.logos.com/installation and includes lots of bug fixes.
Are you able to enable logs and post them after a freeze? Details at http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging

Dear Graham,

Thank you for thi timely advice. I choe the first option and Logos 4 was upgraded to Logos 5. I was able to open it easily. I am yet to download the Updates.

Depending on the size of your library that might take some time and some time to re-index!

First, welcome to the forums!

Second, if you have questions about L4, you might get more answers by posting in that forum instead of the L5 forum. At least, more current L4 users are likely to monitor that forum.
