Just tried this on my iPad and setting columns to "1" as opposed to Auto or anything else clears the display up.
does the same thing happen if you do it on the desktop?

There appears to also be a "Miracle" that is missing.
Its on a desktop with relatively high resolution. Maybe that the font is too large, will have to see about shrinking it down a hair. Full screen also.
