Where to the forums Kent. If you highlight a book on your desktop/notebook, it should show up in the Android App, and vice-versa. You may need to close the app, or at least change the resource and then go back to it to see the highlights.

The only place you can view highlights at the moment in the Android app is within the resources themselves.
As Lynden says they should be synchronised with your desktop environment.
What you can;t do on Android at the moment is to open a Notes document - containing highlights - and look at them all.
This is being worked on but we don't know when it will be available
