I have already downloaded Logos for my Mac. However, when I try to open it, it takes hours to open, saying that it is downloading. When it finally opens, it says that I do not have access to the program.

Is there a reason you are using the L4 engine rather than the free L5 engine? You can download the new engine via the link in my signature line. As for your issue… You might need to enable and post logs. See my signature line for help with that.

Logos uses folders for each OS X user. Curious about access message, which could be permission issue(s) within home directory.
Logos 5 installation => https://www.logos.com/support/logos5/mac/install includes Logos Tech Support contact near bottom of page.
Logos 5 support for OS X => https://www.logos.com/support/logos5/mac/problem includes a download link for Logos Logging Utility, which can be used for Logos 4 and 5.
