Hello:

Can someone help me please?

We use NRSV for most readings in worship and that's the version I quote most often in the sermon. Because I had purchased the NRSV from Logos that version appeared in the Proclaim list and Proclaim "defaulted"to that version until about two weeks ago. Now I have to manually type in NRSV in the search box each time I add a reading or verse. What's up with that?

Hello William,

I am unable to reproduce your issue here in house. If I create a new Bible item, it will revert to using the translation I used with the last Bible item (for example, if I use the NRSV for one passage and create a new Bible item, it should automatically use the NRSV). It would help me greatly if you could provide which version of Proclaim you are using (latest version is 1.12.0.0186), which operating system version you are using and which operating system version you are using.

Another way to make the NRSV is in the Proclaim list of Bibles is to set your Preferred Bibles within Logos 5 (If you have not done so already).

I was looking at that - when thinking about William's question - and found something I didn't understand.

The first picture is what I see in Proclaim, the second is the top of my Logos prioritisation list.

Shouldn't the order be the same? i.e. shouldn't Proclaim ordering be the same as Logos priorities?

Hello Graham,

That is interesting, I will look into this further in a moment. The way the Proclaim preferred bible list works is that it takes the first four bibles off of your Logos preferred bibles and uses those. However only bibles that can be accessed via Biblia.com can be used in Proclaim for Bible items. Also, there is only one version of the NIV available on Biblia.com at the moment. Therefore, here is what I am assuming is happening: Proclaim looks at your list of preferred bibles from Logos and chooses the first four that Biblia.com can access, which is the list that you see in Proclaim. As I said before, I will look into this further and once I come up with something I will reply back to you.
