I have been trying to get Logos to do it update, but every time i say to update nothing happens and then when i try to bypass it to work on line it now crashes..
Any help would be greatful
Chris
Chris,
I assume you're wanting resources to update, not the programme. That's not working because downloading is done by the indexer, and the indexer is crashing.
Unfortunately, the error you're reporting is not one that's appeared on the forums before, leaving us guessing as to what the problem might be. If you had the full indexer log, rather than just the normal error log, then we could probably work it out. It's likely to be caused by a corrupt resource.
7140.LogosIndexerError.log
Chris, If you start Logos with logging enabled it should generate a LogosIndexer.log file. can you post that after it crashes?

1768.Logos Log Files (2).zip
Thanks, Chris. Logos indexes several resources at the same time, in different threads. The error occurs in two threads, indexing two different resources at almost the same time. That either means:
I think (2) is more likely, so I'm going to suggest that you close Logos and delete all the files in C:\Users\chris_000\AppData\Local\Logos5\Data\t5zzhjq0.tkn\BibleIndex
This will cause Logos to create a new Bible Index when you next load Logos. So the next time you start Logos it will take several minutes to open, and then indexing will continue for several more minutes after that.
If that doesn't fix the problem, please upload new logs.
You are running an old version of Logos, 5.1 SR-3, and the error leads me to believe that updating to the newest version will fix it (click on the link and run LogosSetup).
