1541.ProclaimCrash.txt6036.ProclaimError-2.log0677.ProclaimError.log8004.awesomium.logProclaim has started crashing again during image slideshows. I actually had to switch back to ProPresenter for a funeral on Sat due to it shutting down mid slideshow over and over.55818.Proclaim.log
I don't use Proclaim since I have no need to, but I have often wondered if the program actually works for anyone ever. I'm just going by the forum feedback--I suppose that may not tell the whole story, although I don't think I can recall anyone submitting a post proclaiming Proclaim to be a sublime work of art, or even occasionally satisfactory at getting the job done.
Sorry to hear about the issue you encountered George. We have not received any reports to this effect but your log file will be helpful in diagnosing the cause. Should be able to report back tomorrow.
I have often wondered if the program actually works for anyone ever. I'm just going by the forum feedback--I suppose that may not tell the whole story . . .
I can see how you might wonder if the forums were your only metric. It's a lot simpler software than Logos, so there's less to explore. There's less customization, and no Pre-pub or Community Pricing to discuss. These things make the Proclaim forum much more support heavy, but I assure you Proclaim is making many pastors and worship leaders happy every weekend.
Think about it like this: the Proclaim forum is just like the Logos forum if there weren't any power user tricks to learn, or new books to talk about.

That's nice to know. I used to be able to tell it was Sunday morning by the glut of panicked Proclaim posts that showed up on the forum.
And that I can confirm. I use Proclaim every week and it has never let me down.
An analysis of forum posts would, I think reveal, a majority of problems transitioning from other software (new methods of working need to be learnt), then problems with content storage (Proclaims biggest weakness), then clarification of what can and can't be done on line.
None of these affect the actual use of the program and can be dealt with by explanation.
There are, of course bugs and problems when dealing with a program that is to run on multiple platforms and with various display set ups but these can usually be sorted quickly.
I like Proclaim and prophesy that I will like it more and more as the developers get to grips with its fundamentals.
First time using it since I tested it in 2010. The program has matured, and I am liking the features more and more. Used it tonight, and plan to use it tomorrow.
