Community Notes in Firefox

I am having trouble using the community notes on bible.faithlife.com when using Firefox. The dialogue bubble is accessible, but no community notes will show up and I cannot post new notes. This is not an issue with Chrome (I haven't tried EI or Safari). In this post, the error is said to have been corrected. I have found otherwise. Is there a problem with some setting in Firefox, or is this a problem with the program?

After some more digging, here is what I found:

    1. Clicking on the reading link on faithlife.com opens a new window with a https address.

    2. Clicking on the Bible link in the ribbon at the top of the page opens a new window with a simple http address.

    3. Firefox was blocking the functionality of the community notes on the https. By clicking on the icon in the address bar, I was able to turn off the security feature for this website and the notes are now working.

Why would these two links open in different formats? Can the issue be corrected so that members of my group who use Firefox will not have to turn off their security protocols?

    Thank you!

Thanks for the thorough report! It looks like you figured out the problem exactly [:D] This should be an easy fix. I'll notify you when a solution has been deployed (probably later today).

    Thank you,
