3755.LogosLogs.kyungseokchoi.20131018-082348.zip
Can you explain more?
the crash log says,
Invalid database: /Users/kyungseokchoi/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/rwf7yxhc.ty2/LibraryCatalog/catalog.db ---> System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteException: database disk image is malformeddatabase disk image is malformed
which doesn't indicate a bug in Logos, but a corrupt database file. If I was this user, I'd delete it, hoping Logos will automatically rebuild the database catalog. Maybe you can share how he can see this file on his MacBookpro
EDIT: I just see he has this error since mid-August now and Bradley told him the same as I did: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/75411.aspx - Timothy, did you follow Bradley's advice?
the crash log says, Invalid database
Invalid database
Good catch. The logos.log file was uninformative.

As Mick (and Bradley) advised, you need to delete your catalog.db database file and let Logos rebuild it. To find it, you need to navigate to /Users/kyungseokchoi/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/rwf7yxhc.ty2/LibraryCatalog/catalog.db
NOTE: In OSX 10.7 and newer, Apple has hidden the user library by default. There are several ways to reveal the user library, and you can google: "show user library in OSX" for more assistance. Here is how I access it:
Once you have opened the hidden user library, you will navigate to Application Support/Logos4/Data/rwf7yxhc.ty2/LibraryCatalog/catalog.db

I'm not sure. It seems Timothy installed old version 5.0b SR-2 over current 5.1b SR-2, which Logos refused to launch. It may be that in order to run it, now a reinstall of the current version and a deletion of the database is necessary.
@Timothy, if you find yourself unable to follow the advice given, maybe the best way is to call Logos and have a technical support guy log on remotely to your machine and fix this for you.
Hi guys, thank you for your advice from August.
I didn't see your advices until today and I followed what you told me to do but still not working. I deleted Logos 5 and reinstalled but still same problem. Maybe I need to talk to Logos technical support.
Again, thank you guys. I didn't mean to neglect your advices!
I couldn't even find catalog.db in my finder.

You can get an email response to this thread whenever someone responds by clicking on the "email me" button at the top right. Also, it helps to name your thread something more memorable than "Bug." Otherwise, it is hard to find. [;)]
I deleted Logos 5 and reinstalled but still same problem.
Deleting the software engine is rarely a fix for anything. The issue isn't with the software engine, it is with the database files. Deleting the engine doesn't fix this because the resource and database files remain in place.
Did you find your user library? Examine my screen shot below. When you have the "go" menu selected (as shown), press and HOLD the option key. A new menu item "library" will appear. This is your user (kyungseokchoi) library. Click on the library menu item, then open the following folders:
Inside the LibraryCatalog folder, you should find a file named catalog.db. Delete it and restart Logos.
NOTE: Each of the folders I listed in 1-5 are nested inside one another. In other words, you will find "Logos4" inside of the folder "Application Support".
Maybe I need to talk to Logos technical support.
If you find and delete the catalog.db and it still doesn't work, post brand new logs. Otherwise, you will need to speak with Logos. Hope you get it fixed soon!
OMG. I deleted the catalog.db, deleted logos and reinstall again. AND it is opened.
THANK YOU SO MUCH
