Porting to new computer

I am currently running Logos 4 on a laptop running Windows Vista HP/SP2. The machine has served me well, but it's beginning to show it's age. I plan on purchasing a new laptop which will be running Windows 8.1 64-bit. How do I transfer my installation to the new machine?

if you want to carry on with Logos 4 have a look at http://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_multiple_computers

Or you could simply install Logos 5 on your new computer (it is a free upgrade) from https://www.logos.com/installation and your resources will be downloaded.

Thanks for the response. A quick followup: on my new computer I want to locate the files on the drive rather than the C:. How do I accomplish this?

The very first time you install Logos 5, select a "Custom Installation" in the Setup wizard, and you will be able to set the install path. (Once Logos 5 has been installed, this can't be changed without completely reinstalling the software.)
