It's that time of year - the annual request that Logos carry the Moravian Daily Text ... and it is always so tempting to ask for them historically all the way back to 1731. [:D] Naturally, it would also be useful for Logos to produce the 2 year Bible reading plan and the Moravian version of the RCL that are included in this resource.
This year we also celebrate the November 5 shipping of the Book of Common Prayer collection. Here we have a template for Morning and Evening Prayer which would be nice to have in Logos. [Personally, I would like the historical lectionaries in lectionary format but that is a side issue.]
In pre-publication we have Liturgy of the Hours. We have requests for Take Our Moments and Our Days (Mennonite), Trickle's Divine Hours, Missio Deo ...
Isn't it time to have some feature supporting this sort of fixed prayer format in Logos? Or, if not an explicit feature, the ability to do the following:
- include Bible passages in Prayer Lists
- have user defined (not auto-generated) Reading Plans
- include non-Biblical materials in Lectionaries
Yes, I know that if I rebuild it each year with current year dates I can build a Daily Devotional PB which achieves most of what I want.
