When you change the background a side you lose
Color Choices(effects) Drop Shadow font size
You do however keep text formatting

This is a 'feature' of Proclaim. It was designed to make some automatic choices when backgrounds were changed.
Some think the 'feature' is great (eg me) :-)
Some think the 'feature' is a pain!
I, having been through a 'find a relevant background' stage, now stick to a graduated blue for hymns. I decided I wanted the congregation to be focusing on the words rather than trying to work out where the background picture was taken and if they wanted to go on holiday there.
Clearly whether the software should reset what was all ready set in the first place is debatable.
We need a switch to toggle the "feature" on or off LOL!
