It would be nice if we had a way to simply mark books we have read so as to recognize them easily. I always did this visually with hard copies - you look at the spine or the cover and you know you've read it or not. But with e-books, the same familiarity is not there and as my library increases exponentially, being able to add a tick mark or highlight or something indicating "I've Already Read This" or I'm 1/2 way through, or 2/3rds through etc. could be a useful little tool. Maybe superfluous to some - but useful to me.
