Is there a way to delete the "history" lines in the scroll bar? I like to click up and down the scroll bar to move a page at a time and with all those marks on them it sends me to previous pages or passages.
This is not a feature in 4.0, but I thought I had read that it would be included in 4.0a (which is currently in RC testing). That said, I looked at 4.0a RC and I don't see an option to do this, so it may have not made this release.
Not right now, However, when the update to 4.0a comes down the pike, you will have the ability to turn these marks off.
EDIT: Donovan, it's under Program Settings. I'm not on my Logos computer now, I believe it's right next to the setting to turn off visual cues, I can't remember the terminology right now.
I stand corrected. Here's the switch. Does anyone know if there is a way to "reset" or clear them?

No it does not.
I'm not Donavon (older, wiser, not afraid to show my lack of hair [:D]), but I thank you for that information. I just downloaded 4.0a and had not yet noticed that option.
why is not having them show an issue?

Donovan's picture is actually from about 25 years years ago.
Why do you think I am wearing a hat!?!
If you accumulate several bookmarks in a resource, it makes clicking on the scroll bar to simply move up or down an exercise in precision clicking. If I just want to move up a page or so and click one of those marks, I go to that location rather than move a short distance.
For me they often interfere with clicking on the scroll bar. I have to be sure to click off of a 'wear mark' so I don't just jump to that location.
I also haven't found any real usefulness to them, so off they will go.
Now give us back the L3 jump-to-next search hit single key functionality. (Was it F3 or F4?)

Perhaps I should not have said "wiser". Donavon is a Mac user. That alone shows phenomenal intelligence. (watch out for that flaming arrow!) [:D]
He has painted hair on and looks even younger on his Face Book page [8-|]
That would be an extremely valuable addition. [Y] I had thought that, but had not made the suggestion.
Are these marks 'history', 'bookmarks', or 'hit marks'? I thought they might be search hits, but didn't disappear after closing the searches. What exactly are they?
