Creating a "Jump to Today" link in Calendar Devotional Personal Book

I'm trying to put a -Today- link into a personal book of the Calendar Devotional style. The Logos-built calendared books usually have a "Today's Reading" link on the title page, and in the TOC it shows up as:

-Today-
Title Page
etc.

See "My Utmost" or "Morning and Evening" or "On This Day" or "The One Year Bible Reading Calendar" for examples.

I'm trying to replicate that in a personal book. The closest I've got it:

{{field-on:Heading}}[[Today’s Reading>>YearMonthDay:Today]]{{field-off:Heading}}

But that A) doesn't show up in the TOC listing; and worse, links to today's entry in my configured lectionary, not the current book.

Any ideas?

I don't have time to try it, but does a link to logosref:YearMonthDay.today work (try a Word hyperlink, or using the [[ >> ]] syntax?

<edit>You could always use advanced prioritisation on your devotional, but that's cheating a bit. Or you could get the resourceID and add that to your link, but then others who compiled the document would get bad links.</edit>

That format works, but it does the same thing: links to today's entry in my configured lectionary, not the current book. There must be something I'm missing to make a "this" reference.

Thanks for the resourceID pointer. . . unfortunately, that didn't work either, and it may be because my milestones are just MM/DD, not MM/DD/YYYY. I put in a link like this:

[[Today’s Reading>>logosres:pbb:89e4817284f1421dbbd9481b5d0e06a6;ref=YearMonthDay.Today]]

Using the logosres:pbb link from Copy Location. I notice when I mouse over it, the pop-up says October 21, 2013. However, there isn't a milestone for Oct 21, 2013, just for Oct 21 (e.g. [[@DayOfYear: October 21]]).

I've tried a couple other variants using DayOfYear:Today, but Today doesn't appear to be a supported option for DayOfYear.

YearMonthDay is a different datatype and will not work with a devotional DayOfYear. You could try ref=DayOfYear.Today
