Can I remove certain resources from my hard drive?

I have a Mac Air with only 64 GB on my hard drive, so space is limited, and I have a lot of resources on logos that I rarely, if ever, use. I would like to be able to remove them from my hard drive (or move them to an external drive) but still have access to them online - something similar to how my iPhone or iPad would access resources. Is there a way to do this?

Unfortunately, no. You can choose to "hide" resources (a poorly chosen word on the part of Logos… it should be called "archived"), which will remove the resource from your library, but you will not have access to the resource. You can restore the resource, which will then be downloaded to your device.

A MacBook Air is an ideal laptop for Logos… provided you have a large enough SSD. [:S]

Thanks, it looks like the hide feature is what I was looking for, but it doesn't seem to be working right.

I went through the library, highlighting resources I wanted to hide, and used the Option+Right-click method to hide them all. I restarted Logos, and they are all still available in my library. I went to Tools to open the Program settings, and they are all listed in hidden resources as well.

Any advice? Logos is indexing right now, so I wonder if that might mess with things.

I suggest you wait until it has finished indexing and check whether they are hidden then

You can restore the resource, which will then be downloaded to your device.

Option is changing Program Settings so resources are not automatically downloaded.

It's worth noting that if you do decide to hide a lot of resources you can only unhide one at a time.

This can lead to a massive task, if you want to unhide.

The only solution to this which I could find was to write a script to do the unhiding for me over night. If logos has implemented unhiding multiple items then that won't be a problem.
