Is there a difference between the Verbum and Logos iPad apps? If so, what is the difference? do you recommend nod over the other? Why?
That should read: Do you recommend one over the other?
First, welcome to the forums. [:)]
Each of the apps (Logos, Verbum, Vyrso, Faithlife, etc.) are slightly different from one another. Faithlife is geared towards those who want to study the bible, but are perhaps not interested in purchasing a base package. It comes with a number of "Faithlife" resources and also includes a "social media" aspect. The Vyrso app is a simplified ebook reader, and does not have bible study features at all. The Logos Bible! app is the closest to the desktop app.
The Verbum app is geared towards Catholic users, and comes with some free resources geared toward that audience. It is also a mix of the Logos Bible! app along with Faithlife's social media features.
Some users enjoy having multiple apps on their device, but note: Downloaded resources (and note files) are NOT shared between apps. ALL of your notes will be duplicated (space wise) between the two apps. Any resource downloaded to both apps will take up twice the space. [This is a behavior of iOS (for safety reasons), and is not unique to the Logos apps]
I like the verbum APP best.. it combines some of the features of the faith life APP with all the features of the Logos APP.

Hi Folks!
You guys seem to be the only thread discussing Verbum so pardon me for butting in. I want to switch to Verbum but can't find much info in regards to switching from Logos. Can anyone tell me if Logos purchases can be moved over to Verbum?
Thanks!
Gary
