How to create "church history" collection?

I've never created any collections before, because I thought I could just search everything manually. But now I'm getting a little weary.

Can someone show me how to create a "church history" collection from Jesus's time until today...

I want the magazines & archaeological included too but not the Perseus collection.

I'm a big believer in the value of collections. Here is the one I use for Church History -

(Subject:History,Title:(Histor,Mennonite,Walden)) AND (Subject:(Church, Doctrine,Mennonite,Reformation,Waldenses),Title:(Church, Doctrine,Reformation)) ANDNOT Subject:("N.T.","O.T.",Synods)

Open a search window. Set the search to basic then set the target to your collection and hit enter. Here is a pic:
