Does anyone know if there is a way to undock and entire pane of tabs to view it full screen and then quickly dock it back into my set layout? Does my question make sense?
Does my question make sense?
Your question makes sense, but I do not know of any way to accomplish this.
Hi Aaron
Does anyone know if there is a way to undock and entire pane of tabs to view it full screen and then quickly dock it back into my set layout?
There is a "Open all in a floating window" option if you right-click on the top of a tab which floats all tabs in a panel into a floating window from where you can dock them all again.
Is this what you are looking for or is there something further?
Graham
Peace, Graham! Wow! Where have I been!??? I didn't know about this!
One more thing to learn .... all the possible permutations!!! ...... Incredible! ...
Well! Back to the learning curve, eh??? Thanks for sharing! How "rich" is our Logos Bible Software!
Thanks. Yep, I knew about that. However, when I go to "redock" the tabs, they are docked into an already open pane and don't go back into their original pane. It screws up my system of windows
Understood - so I expect you will be pleased to see that this is being worked on in the current beta (for 5.2). From the release notes for 5.2 B2
Resource Panel Floated panels should return to their original location when docked:
If you look in the beta forum you will see some discussions about how this new algorithm is working but it looks as though it should address what you are looking for.
Thanks! I also just found the keystroke Shift-Command-F does precisely what I needed. It puts it in "reading mode, but all the tabs for that pane are still there. I'm using a Mac, so I'm not sure what the keystrokes are for the PC.
This will work for now! Grace and Peace.
It puts it in "reading mode, but all the tabs for that pane are still there.
That is a great approach to addressing this[:)]

On the PC it is F11
Thanks! I also just found the keystroke Shift-Command-F does precisely what I needed.
Thanks for the instruction. A person should learn something new every day. You have made my day, and I don't even need to shoot you [:D]. (Only those who know about Dirty Harry may understand that last line)
Jack, if I could "like" a post (like you do on Facebook) you would have had a "like" from me for that one.
