I would love to see Logos 5 or 6 more customizable like Libronix was. I remember we could add all kinds of toolbars and really change the look and feel of the program to suit our desires.
Hi James
Can you give some examples of the sort of things you are looking for?
Graham
Specifically I'm thinking about the toolbar section. You could add and do all kinds of things in Libronix. You could have multiple toolbars and change the icons. You could also change the color of the Interface. It was just over all more customizable and I don't understand why they took all that away. Maybe most people didn't care and didn't change things but the option was there.
I would love to be able to have multiple toolbars that I can activate and deactivate depending on what I'm doing. I would also like the ability to add new and different toolbar icons.
I also like how you could change the home page. There were different homepages for different publishers ect.
Below are two pictures. One show the color change and the other show different toolbars.
Peace, James! Thanks for your post! I hope that it will encourage Logos to put back some of the "bells and whistles" we used to have in Libronix! I'm totally happy with Logos 5; however, some of the old "frills" would be a nicety, like for instance -- something quite minor! -- the coloured pens for highlighting so readily available.
What we have in Logos 5 is great, but the software could still "flower" a little, eh???
What features would you like to access via the toolbar that are not currently available? I used multiple toolbars in Libronix but have generally found the functionality I added, easily accessible in L5. What are you using that is not?
