During a Bible search for certain words, &c., it would be nice to select which translations to use. I don't really want the Clementine Vulgate showing up if I'm looking for an English word.

Yes, this is possible. In your search criteria, make sure you choose Bible as the type of search (i.e., not "Basic...Image, Clause, etc.). Then choose how you want to search (typically "Search All Bible Text in All Passages"), then choose which version or collection you want to search. You can create collections via the Tool menu.
