Use of Maps in published works

I desire to use many of the maps from LOGOS Deluxe Map Set in a Home School curriculum that I am developing. While I do not know the total number, I am sure it will be more than 20 or so. This I believe would be in excess of fair use for academic purposes. The question I have concerns using these items in a curriculum that I plan on selling. Can some one suggest an answer or is there an answer out there already.

I know only what I've read about copyright use and as far as I can tell you cannot sell anything with copyright protection for any use including 'academic' use. AFAIK academic use is restricted to things like research papers and publications and cannot be used for making profit. You may be planning to give away the material, but this seems to me to be an area that would need clarification. I am not a lawyer so don't really know.

Why not call or email to Logos. They could quickly answer your question as they deal with copyright all the time and this is their material.

If you are going to sell a curriculum which uses others' material in any way, you must CYA.

(Call Your Attorney).
