Patrick I think this is a legitimate question. I had a friend that bought Logos 4 and several weeks later Logos 5 came out and my friend still had to pay an upgrade fee to upgrade to Logos 5. I communicated with two different people at Logos trying to resolve the issue because I believe he should have been given a free core upgrade. One of the people I communicated with gave no solution and the other said they would check into it and I have not heard back from them and it has been over six months. So yes, it is a legitimate question because I do not want anyone else to have to pay extra money for an upgrade to something they just bought! I was in the computer business for 16.5 years and have observed how software companies handle their upgrades. I believe most of them if a user had just purchased their software and then a new version immediately comes out offer a free upgrade. This is what I have observed. I'm not saying that Logos should give them the portfolio edition, just the core upgrade (engine and new feature). Hopefully this will not happen to anyone else.
Blessings,
James

Interesting after hitting the "Reply" button I got an email from Logos stating:
"Note: Replying to this email will NOT post to the forums. Please return to forums to respond back to this post."
I therefore am now trying with the "Quick Reply" button hoping this reply button will work. Confusing huh. I know. I thought the reply button would work also.
UPDATE: The Quick Reply button apparently did not work for posting a reply as I got the same message above again. Seems there is room for process improvement for the Logos Forum.
I will post this without using the Reply buttons and see where this goes.
