5.2 Beta 3: Blank icon on task bar not fixed

The release notes say: "Fixed issue with pinned taskbar icons being replaced with blank file icons upon updating".

I have never had this problem before 5.2 beta 3. However, It just happened for me when I installed it:

Could the "fix" have broken it in a different way?

Hi Todd, do you know what version you had installed when you created the taskbar pin? My understanding when testing this was that pins created before 5.2 Beta 1 may have this happen, but pins after that will not blank out. By that logic, this should only occur once, so please let us know if it happens again.

This should have made it into Known Issues, I'm adding it now.

I've had it pinned for a long time--several versions back, so it must have been before 5.2 beta1.

This happens to me in Windows 8 every single time the Logos software updates. I always have to unpin it, open the software by a different method, which includes the icon, then pin it again. I have to do that every time I update the software.

Rosie, after updating to 5.2 SR-3 did you unpin and then pin the icon again? My understanding is that once you pin the icon again after 5.2 Beta 1, it should not blank out again. Please let me know if you are still having this issue.
