Crashing

I am a Logos fan! I love the vision and features of Proclaim and it is the only worship presentation software I have ever used, which means I'm "green" when it comes to this, but I am increasingly concerned about the reliability of the software in front of a live audience. The program often freezes and crashes while editing and this makes me so nervous during each class or worship service that the sides wont advance or the whole program will freeze, especially during a song. Anyway, I know it is tough to work everything out with all the different operating systems, but I am just seriously concerned with whether I can continue to use Proclaim at this point. If there is a way to actually contact someone so that I can see if we can or should do anything on our end let me know.

Hello Kevin,

I am sorry to hear about your frustrations. Are there any specific actions that make Proclaim crash for you? If so the first thing I would like you to do is reproduce the crash you are experiencing and then attach the log files to a post so I can see exactly what is going on. The log files should be located here:

Mac:

/Users/[username]/(~Library)/Application Support/Proclaim/Logging/
The Library folder might be hidden. If so, hit CMD+Shift+G and enter "~/library" into the box.

Windows:

XP - %USERPROFILE%\My Documents\Proclaim Log Files\
Vista/Win7 - %USERPROFILE%\My Documents\Proclaim Log Files\

Hey Kevin,

So I was able to find a few crash logs from your group and most of them seemed to be coming from running out of memory. These memory leaks have been fixed on the Mac with the most recent patch of Proclaim. However it does seem that your program crashed a few days ago while using Proclaim on the Mavericks OS. We are actively investigating issues with Proclaim and Mavericks, but it would be very helpful if you could provide steps to reproduce your crash.
