"Daily Readings" stays at "Loading" in Verbum app

Whenever I try and look at my daily readings in the Verbum app I just get a message saying its "loading".

This is on an HTC Desire HD phone running Android 2.3.5 and Verbum 2.6.7.

I have just deleted and reinstalled the app and the problem persists.

I can see the reading plans in the Bible and Faithlife app on the same phone.

Any ideas what could be going on here?

    The daily readings screen will show "Loading" until the library has completed an update successfully. Unfortunately re-installing the app starts that process over, so that's unlikely to help in this case.

    I can't see any indication that the library is doing an update. Is there anything I should be looking for?

    Unfortunately re-installing the app starts that process over, so that's unlikely to help in this case.

    I would expect you to see a progress bar when viewing the library list. If that's not happening, it's possible that killing the app and restarting it might help.

    There's a progress bar shown for a couple of seconds and then it disappears. The daily reading screen still shows Loading

    If that's not happening, it's possible that killing the app and restarting it might help.

    I killed the app and restarted it and the problem persists.

    But I went to send through support info (which I have done) and - while doing that - I received a message saying the library had updated (so that may well have been the issue). Going back to the Daily Reading plans the screen is blank - but using the Add button I can add the Reading Plans back in and they appear correctly.

    So I don't really understand what was going on but it seems to have been resolved.

    For me, it's the Faithlife pane that is no longer updating.  The Library, Daily Readings and News tabs are call current, but no matter what I choose in the Faithlife tab, it's blank.  This used to work fine, but has been several weeks since there's anything there.
