NON-capitalized references to God or Jesus!
It bothers me, and I hope it does others, whenever the LORD's Name, or other references to OUR HOLY FATHER and HIS SON JESUS, that are NOT CAPITALIZED.
It's not just your writing as I see it in a LOT of publications.
Could you please go back and EDIT your text for all such references!.

Different publishers have different conventions as to when capitalization is used. Logos has to follow the print edition rather than their own style sheet.

Plus I don't remember YHWH, Theos or Joshua chiming in on capitalization.
It's my understanding YHWH wrote even-sized letters (we don't really know of course for the ones that Moses dropped). Theos uniformly wrote also in even-sized letters. And Joshua, writing on the ground ... we don't even know if it was letters or not but it's hard to imagine he captialized his doodles.
So technically, presuming we should be following the divine example, should not be using a variation in letter size (either all upper or all lower). Indeed this should be the principle for all the inspired writing (along with no punctuation too, of course).

Since the only English Bibles I regularly use are KJV, ESV and NRSV I must admit that I hadn't even noticed that there ARE English Bibles that DO use capitalized references to God or Jesus. [:$]
I always use capitals when referring to God - this is also one of the reasons why I prefer the (revised) Statenvertaling over the new dutch Bible Translation (NBV 2004) - but I always thought this was typically Dutch.

NASB capitalizes pronouns for YHWH/Yeishuu`a, which is one of the half-dozen or so reasons I use it as my preferred Bible. I don't even have a close second when it comes to English Bibles.

Regarding likely or possible divine pronouns: I'm just guessing, but some translation teams probably consider capitalization in this case an interpretational issue rather than a translational or editorial one. That is, deciding which noun a pronoun refers to (whether ambiguous or not) is the responsibility of the reader.

I'm an old guy from Canada, a retired Parish Pastor. I remember that many of the devout in my first parish back in the 1960's used to very quietly and discreetly bow their heads in their pews at the Name of Jesus, our Divine Saviour! A quiet and lovely Reverence! *smile*
How beautiful! I'd sure like to see a bit more of that these days, eh??? Personally I'd like to see my Lord's Name capitalised also! So, if you have a specific reference that you'd like to share with us, please spell it out clearly!

Just my preference...I appreciate that the NASB capitalizes pronouns for YHWH & Yeishuu`a, but I have a number of places, primarily in Tanakh, where I don't necessarily agree with their decision. I don't take such things as definitive Holy writ. I realize that it is a matter of editorial interpretation, but I'd rather they do it and get it right 99.9x% of the time than not do it at all.
