Replicated initial Libronix Server sync failure, then clicked Back, followed by Next, which worked.

I assume we're talking Windows 8?
On Windows 7, Libronix syncs in a normal way, along with resource downloads.
Libronix sync just does not work any longer. Is there any other way to do this. For instance, could one email a Libronix license backup to Logos, and they sync it?
Sync it to where and why? A local backup of licences is sufficient for re-installation purposes. Are you planning to migrate to Logos 4/5 for the first time?

Suddenly, Libronix will not sync. In short, there are many reasons that I still need sync to work.
I just tried it and Libronix sync'd fine on Windows XP (in Australia). You could try to call/Skype/email Logos Support.
my main complaint is that logos stated the safest way to backup the license is to sync with them. Now sync does not work. I bought 4, and I hated it. Went back to 3, and now when I needed to reinstall, I've lost much of my content because the sync does not work. This is frustrating.
Brian ... did they really say that? (not doubting; just surprised)
It sounds like the current crop of enthusiasts. Plus the marketing come-on ... we'll be here for generations!!
I presume you didn't backup your licenses? I've got stacks of backups plus stacks of original CDs. I'll admit I'm not buying much 'Logos' anymore since most of their new stuff is old stuff or not my cup of tea. I run on XP with W7; W7 gets the sync and I pass the file to XP.

You could ask Logos for a licence file if you still have your Libronix account (email + password). Creating a backup licence file was always the best way to safeguard your investment, as I was able to re-install Libronix for a friend two weeks ago.
FWIW Windows XP reaches its End of Life on April 8th of this year. Continuing to expose an XP machine to the internet is on par with walking into a 1 percenter biker gangs club house and punching the biggest guy in the face. At best its dangerous, and at worst its highly costly. In short, 1/3 of the world is expected to still be running windows xp, and hackers are saving their exploits until april the 9th, where they will unleash madness and mayhem on all who tarry. In practical terms, anything you log into - bank accounts, facebook, video games, Logos, etc, and ANY information or resources of yours that can be accessed with the username or passwords gained from those places are all as good as in the hands of some criminal looking to steal your identity, or money, or whatever else they can get their hands on. For most of us - losing our facebook password is immaterial - but do you really want some weirdo on the internet to have pictures of your grandkids? Of your kids? Knowing (because if you are running XP they may well have access to your FB on april the 9th, and because people over share on facebook) where she is, and what her routine is?Frankly, this is something that people need to take seriously. Organized (and disorganized ) criminals are already all over this. People are speculating that exploits for windows XP (currently valued at 75,000$ on average) will skyrocket in value to 2x or 3x their current selling points. The increase in value is tied directly into the length of time the exploits will remain functioning. Current estimates indicate that 1/3 of the world will still be using XP on April 9th, and with MS stopping the patch cycle for XP on the 8th, any exploits released on the 9th will last as long as their are people still foolish enough to use XP. Realisticly speaking, if you use your XP machine for banking, or anything private, that information will be in the hands of the bad guys if you are still using that computer on the internet on april the 9th. The Fix: Time to get a new version of windows. Vista (which I dislike) still has a few years left on it. Seven should last till oct of 2020, and 8 should last a few years longer than that. 9 is expected in October of this year. For more information, PC world has a write up on this... Not exactly a technical article, but if this is the first you've heard about the "XPocalypse" as some are calling it, its a good starting point.
And to keep everything in perspective, you can run an XP inside a Windows7 (virtual box) thereby protecting Libby from the nasties who frequent the door of Windows7 (not to mention Windows8).
When I requesst that, (since this particular computer I have is running Vista SP1 (not 2), would I get my resources from an older completed sync or what?
I've gone thru many laptops, and my Logos 5 laptop is about to tank... while this working Vista can only support Libronix 3.0 - and as you know, Andriod is NOT always sufficient.
Presuming you are responding to my March post about getting a licence file from Logos your reference to Vista SP1 is puzzling:-

explaining that Logos discontinued the Libronix Server that synced the licenses, and provides the License Sync method work around via eMail attachments with Logos Customer Service that did work for me.
