Series X Installation Problem

I just got a new (actually used) laptop to replace my very old and slow laptop. I tried to install my Scholar's Library on it and the installation hung up (several times) with the first CD - it got to "Total Progress: 95%" and hung up on "graecall (True Type) 0%". The CD-ROMs are marked as "Series X" and there are six of them. I have tried disabling my anti-virus, uninstalling my anti-virus, resetting the system restore point. My laptop is running Windows XP SP3.

Any help to get this software installed will be much appreciated!

That is (now) some old software. I don't know how to fix the problem with the install disks. One thing you could try is to install the version 3 software from here:

http://www.logos.com/support/downloads/ldls

Once that is installed you might be able to unlock the Scholar's Library collection using the Account Management function or through Unlock Resources (Collections) found under the Tools menu. If not you will probably need to call customer Service and get their help in unlocking your library. Once it is unlocked you will have to use Location Manager and your discs to load your resources on your computer.

What operating system was your OLD laptop using Carol ?

Were you working most recently with Logos 2 or Logos 3 on your old system ?

Looks like a fonts issue. Because there are probably very few on here that are using Series X (I don't even know where my old disks are), your best possibility for help would be to call Technical Support. There is a good chance that they don't support this software any more.
